Permanent Jewelry is one of the hottest trends in the jewelry industry that is here to stay, and for good reason. Each piece is designed by you then custom fitted and welded closed, eliminating the need for a clasp. This means you can wear your bracelet, necklace or anklet every day without the hassle of taking it on and off. And if you're wondering, it's 100% pain-free.

What to expect during your appointment?
Once you come into the studio, you will choose your chain and charm, we will begin to size it, and then we will weld your chain to your chosen area. The welding machine will emit a small spark, but it will not touch or hurt the skin whatsoever.
What materials are the chains made of?
We use 14k gold-filled and sterling silver chains. They are perfect for permanent jewelry because they're hypoallergenic, won't tarnish, and are durable. We do not carry Solid Gold Chains in stock regularly, but we can special order.
What is the rewelding policy?
It is important to remember that while our jewelry is durable it is not indestructible.
If your chain breaks, please bring it in and we will assess the break. Breaks at the weld will be repaired at no cost. If we are unable to repair the chain, we will offer you a discount to replace the chain.

What if I need/want to take it off?
If for any reason you want to remove your jewelry, simply cut it off with scissors or nail clippers. We suggest cutting it where the connecting link we added is, so you can save the chain and we can reconnect it in the future if you'd like.
Can I go through TSA with it on?
Yes! You can keep your permanent jewelry on while going through airport security. The jewelry does not set off the sensors.
Can I get a clasp?
Absolutely! If permanent jewelry isn't for you, but you'd still like to custom design your own jewelry, we've got you covered. We can put a clasp on it for you so it's a piece you can take on and off.
Can I receive a refund or return my jewelry if I change my mind?
Unfortunately, Skyline Links does not offer refunds or returns due to the application required to make the jewelry permanent. That's why I always have plenty of options to choose from at my parties, pop-up events, and appointments.
How long does it take?
On average, it takes about 10-20 minutes per client.
How do I care for my jewelry?
Dawn dish soap and a soft toothbrush work great!
Will the jewelry tarnish or dull in color?
All of our gold jewelry is gold-filled, meaning that it will not tarnish. The coating is 100x thicker than gold plated. Our silver jewelry is .925 Sterling Silver which can temporarily tarnish under certain conditions such as chlorine, sulfur, bleach and other strong chemicals. A toothbrush and toothpaste will take it right off, as does baking soda.
